What JARVIS does

JARVIS is a family hub for rewards, chores and goals. The parent approves and awards coins in an internal encrypted record; the child reports activities from their iPhone. Push notifications run in PWA mode once the app is added to the home screen.

Who can register

Public registration is open to natural persons over 18 years of age who are the legal guardians of the children they will use JARVIS for. By creating a family you confirm that:

• you are over 18 years of age and able to enter into a contract for the provision of the service;
• you are the legal guardian of the children you add to the family (Article 8 of the GDPR and Section 7 of Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing);
• the details you provide are true and current.

JARVIS reserves the right to close an account that breaches these requirements.

What JARVIS does not do

• It does not integrate directly with Apple Screen Time (the parent does that manually).
• It shares no data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• It uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no fingerprint identifiers.
• Sensitive family content (names of tasks, rewards and goals, notes) is encrypted with the family key and we do not decrypt it on admin screens.

Acceptable behaviour

The app is meant for ordinary family use. It is not allowed to:

• impersonate another person or use the account of another family without their consent;
• attempt to bypass authentication, encryption, rate-limiting or other security controls;
• generate automated load (scripts, bots) beyond ordinary use;
• store content that breaks the law of the Czech Republic or of the EU (typically content that abuses children, hateful content, fraud).

Warranties and liability

The app runs in dogfood mode, with no SLA and no warranty of availability. If you forget your password and have no recovery key, the encrypted family content is lost for good (it is encrypted with the family key).

The operator is not liable for indirect damage (lost profit, loss of data beyond the duties of a controller under the GDPR) to the extent that the law allows such liability to be excluded.

Personal data processing

The details of the processing (legal bases, sub-processors, retention periods, your GDPR rights) are in the Privacy policy. By ticking the consent box during registration you confirm that you have read the policy and that you understand it.

Ending the contract

You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account (Settings → Privacy → “Delete account”). JARVIS deletes your row including the family data you own as the last parent. The operator reserves the right to close an account that breaches these terms, after prior notice (except in cases of child abuse or of a legal obligation, where the account can be closed immediately).

Changes to these terms

When these terms change materially, we raise the version at the top and ask you to confirm them again at your next sign-in. If you do not agree with the new version, you can delete your account and the contract ends.

Governing law

The contract is governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Consumer disputes can be resolved out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).
