How the rules work

Different values for each child

When you have more than one child, the same rule can give each of them a different number of coins. You set it right in the rule with Different for each kid.

Steps

  1. In Rules, open the rule, open the Different for each kid row and switch to Different for each kid.

  2. Set the amounts and save the rule.

It helps with a big age gap, when a five-year-old and a twelve-year-old do the same thing with different effort. Choose Same for everyone to give the rule one shared value again.

Each child sees only their own value, never a comparison with a sibling. For each kind of rule, it works like this:

  • Chores: a different bonus and deduction for each child.

  • Tasks: a different number of coins for each child.

  • Rewards: a different price in the Obchod for each child.

  • Goals: one amount for everyone. For a goal, you only control who sees it.

  • Siblings will tell each other their prices. The question "why do I get only 5 and my brother 8?" will come, so have your explanation ready.

If something doesn't work

You don't see the Different for each kid row.
It shows once the rule applies to at least two kids. Check the Who's it for row.
Different for each kid is missing for a goal.
Goals don't have a different price for each child.
You don't see the rule settings.
You need the right to change rules. Ask an adult with full access, such as the person who invited you.
