How the rules work

Tasks: how often they can be done

For each task, you set how often your child can send it: any time, or at most once a day, a week or a month. Coins are added only after you approve.

How to set up a task

  1. In Rules, click Add and choose Something they may do.

  2. Fill in the name, the coins and how often, and click Save task.

Options

  • Any time, as often as they like. No limit, like helping with the shopping.

  • At most once a day. Like reading for 20 minutes.

  • At most once a week. Like tidying their room.

  • At most once a month. Like helping with the car.

More settings

With the Only on some days row, you limit a task done at most once a day or once a week to selected days. With the Only for a period row, you limit the task to a time span, and for a saved task the Pause row hides it from your kids. Your child can't send the task outside the allowed days or over the limit.

An approved task keeps days in a row going. When you have the bonus turned on, your child gets more for a long run.

  • Respond by the next day

A request left waiting for a week loses its connection to what your child did.

If something doesn't work

Your child can't send the task.
They already sent it in this period, today is outside the allowed days, or the task is outside its period or paused.
You want to recognize something one-off.
Use Extra coins.
