Goals and how to set a good price
A goal is something big your child saves up for, like LEGO or a trip. A good price matches one to three months, and Monthly potential helps you set it.
How a goal works
In Rules, click Add, choose What they save for, set the amount and save the rule.
Once your child has saved enough and clicks Claim reward, you approve it in Approvals.
Coins aren't locked to a goal. Your child has one balance, and every coin saved moves all goals forward.
Your child picks a main goal with a star. They then see it on Home.
The deadline is just your plan. JARVIS doesn't calculate anything from it or send reminders.
A goal has one price for all kids. But each child reaches it and claims it on their own.
How to set a good price
At the top of Rules, under Goals, you'll find Monthly potential: how many coins your child can earn in a month if they do everything. It's a ceiling, the real number will be lower. Tasks without a limit and the bonus for days in a row aren't counted in it.
One to three months
With a potential of 800 coins a month, a price of 1,600 is reasonable. A goal of 4,000 would take five months even if your child did everything, so split it up instead.
If something doesn't work
- Your child has saved enough but can't claim the goal.
- Rewards, deductions or another request waiting for approval may have lowered the balance. A goal can be claimed only with the full amount.
