Add a child
Adding a child takes a few minutes: fill in the name, year of birth and how the app addresses them, and come up with a PIN together. Then you connect their phone or tablet.
Steps
On the Overview, in the First setup card, click Add kid. Later you add another child in Settings › Family.
Fill in the name, year of birth, how the app addresses them and a 4-digit PIN.
Choose what your child can set up on their own, and finish adding them.
JARVIS comes up with a nickname. You can change it. Your child enters it only when signing in without a QR code.
The year of birth sets the look. Depending on age, the app is simpler or more grown-up and suggests fitting chores.
Deductions don't count right away. They start only after the app is first used and from the start day you choose with the first chores.
If something doesn't work
- The nickname is taken.
- It must be unique across all of JARVIS. Try another one, for example with a number.
- You want to change something.
- You edit the name, how the app addresses them and the PIN in your child's settings (Nastavení › Family and your child's name).
