Days in a row, Full days and the bonus
Days in a row count the days with an approved task, and with the bonus on they raise earnings from 7 days. Full days count the days when your child did all their chores.
Two counters
Days in a row (the flame). They grow for each day your child sends a task and you approve it. The day it was sent is the one that counts. Chores and deductions don't affect them.
Full days. Days when your child did all their chores. On your side, they're called days without a slip.
A free day doesn't break either counter. The day is skipped over as if it weren't there. No deduction today only leaves one chore out of Full days.
Bonus for days in a row
The bonus is off for a new family. You turn it on and change the tiers in Settings › Family › Bonus for days in a row, on the web and in the iPhone app. Your child then gets more for a long run. In Activity, the bonus is added to the approval, and the record's details show how much of it is the bonus. Default tiers:
| Run | Per approval |
|---|---|
| from 7 days | ×1.25 |
| from 14 days | ×1.5 |
| from 30 days | ×2 |
The bonus raises only earnings. It never applies to deductions, however long the run is.
If something doesn't work
- The run broke because of a forgotten day.
- Confirm the task from that day with Done earlier, and the run comes back.
- The bonus wasn't added.
- The bonus multiplies only coins for doing something. It doesn't raise a chore with no coins for doing it, or a deduction. Also check that the bonus is on.
