FAQ

Does JARVIS work on Android?

Yes, as a web app from Chrome on your home screen. The steps are in JARVIS on Android.

What does it cost?

JARVIS is free, with no subscription.

The other parent doesn't want to join. What now?

Start on your own, JARVIS works with one parent too. You can send an invite any time later, see Invite the other parent or grandma.

My child doesn't have their own phone.

Connect a shared tablet or your old phone, see Connect your child's phone or tablet.

What if my child changes the time on their phone?

Nothing happens. JARVIS takes the time from the server. Only the time zone comes from the phone, so when traveling your child's day closes by local time.

My child forgot to check off what they did.

For the last 7 days, you confirm it with Done earlier.

My child refuses chores because they don't earn anything.

That's common in the first week or two. A short family talk helps, and three chores, no more. Why chores and tasks are different is explained in Chores and tasks.

Does JARVIS have widgets?

On iPhone, yes. For you: Approvals, Kids today and Family. For your child: Goal, Streak, Today and My day. For both: JARVIS. On the Lock Screen you can add the Chores widget. Most widgets show one thing, My day and Family show more together. Clicking a widget opens the app.

Where do I find help in the app?

The full guides are on the web in the account menu under Guide, where you'll also find What's new. In the iPhone app, you'll find Tutorials and help and What's new in Settings under Help and news.

How do I stop using it and delete the data?

Download your data first, then delete your account. The steps are in Download or delete data.
