First setup

Install the app and turn on notifications

On iPhone, download JARVIS from the App Store. On Android, add the web app to your home screen from Chrome. Then allow notifications, or you won't hear about your kids' requests.

Steps

  1. Open jarvis.kids in Chrome and sign in.

  2. In the Chrome menu (three dots, top right), choose Add to Home screen (in newer Chrome, Install app).

  3. Open JARVIS from the home screen icon. Only here does the app ask about notifications, click Allow.

On a computer, open jarvis.kids in your browser. The account and data are the same as on your phone.

  • On Android, JARVIS turns on notifications only in the app opened from the home screen icon. In an open browser, it won't even ask.

If something doesn't work

You declined notifications on iPhone.
In JARVIS, open Nastavení › Notifications and click Open Settings. There, allow notifications for JARVIS.
You're not sure notifications arrive.
On iPhone, the Nastavení › Notifications screen tells you. On the web, in the same place under Tests and diagnostics, you can send yourself a test notification.
You opened jarvis.kids in Safari on iPhone.
The web app works there too, but new versions don't reach it reliably. The App Store app is the safer choice.
Notifications arrive, but not at night.
You probably have quiet hours turned on.
